STG, Inc. has an immediate opportunity as an Associate Documentation Specialist located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ! This position will support NETCOM G-6 providing cutting edge services and tools to the United States Army.
As an Associate Documentation Specialist you will provide IT support to NETCOM and NETCOM supported organizations for Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) hardware, software, data, applications, tools, systems used by the Army. This includes direct support to NETCOM G-6 with business operations, Cybersecurity, Knowledge Management Integration (KMI), Army Enterprise Service Ownership/Development, Capability Management and Content Management requirements. You will be expected to provide support in accordance with (IAW) industry best practices as delineated in frameworks such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and shall provide support on all environments including any hardware, software, applications, tools, systems, or networks used by the Government, whether developed, leased, or commercially purchased. Work will include employing agency-specific or unique hardware and software in both classified and unclassified network environments as well as legacy, current, and new systems at various lifecycle stages.
Review all submitted documents checking for adherence to the guidance documentation
Attend meeting and provide meeting minutes, due outs and Executive Summary’s (EXSUMs)
Ensure docs are in the correct format and grammar, capitalization, use of italics, bold, etc., numerals, compound words, spacing before and after dashes and symbols
Monitor routing, signature approval process and workflow of assigned documents to ensure document meets project schedule timelines
Consult with authors regarding document content, readability, consistency and validate sources referenced within the docs
Develop, organize, and maintain a documentation library for all NETCOM G-6 documents
Edit, type, prepare memoranda of a technical, managerial level
Document flow diagrams, configuration drawings, functional systems flow diagrams, graphics, etc
Responsible for the generation of all documentation supporting KM policy and procedures. This includes all KM Policy documents, User guides for Enterprise Applications, policies for SharePoint on-boarding and utilization and training manuals for all developed applications
Provide updates to all NETCOM policies and guidelines
Provide drafts and updates of technical plans, TTPs, policies, memoranda, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and briefing slides to the Government for approval
HS + 6 years of Information Technology (IT) experience AA/AS + 4 or BA/BS + 2 at minimum
Active Secret Security Clearance
Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support
Experience writing and utilizing government standards such as AR 25-50, DA PAM 600-67 and others
Keen attention to detail for document errors such as capitalization, compound words, spacing, spelling and other common errors
Developing and Maintain document library’s for documents and polices
Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactic Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
Capturing requirements from customers and stakeholders
Skills producing system, network diagrams and flow charts.
Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadline
Follow organizational processes and polices
Compose and deliver reports and presentations of the highest professional quality.
Develops concepts, products, or technologies that extend knowledge in fields of expertise
