Configuration Management Specialist
Semper Valens Solutions is looking for a Configuration
Management Specialist based on Ft. Huachuca for the DCGS-A Integrations team
responsible for the program management of a diverse DCGS-A family of products.
The team supports all customer/system specific service areas inside the
Distributed Common Ground Station-Army Family of Systems (DCGS-A FOS) including
DCGS-A Fixed (DFI/DFB), DCGS-A v3, CDSS (RTGS, TCSP/CSA, TTC), DE-AA, DE-SS,
CHARCS, ENFIRE, DTSS, CI-OPS, IWS, and DG2.0. This team implements professional
system and software engineering practices to create capabilities that increase
efficiencies, reduce risk and reduce overall mission costs across the division
and within the PMO.
Configuration Management Specialist Requirements:
Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Must be able to write
Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures,
software development, software testing, and software documentation to
verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures.
- Must be capable of
participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of
software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status
accounting of the software baseline for each system.
- Working on code management,
audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of
documentation for software projects.
4 years of experience.
Willingness to be a
professional and can coordinate change with other professionals.
Configuration Management Specialist Education:
- A technical Bachelor’s Degree
(Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or
Technical discipline) preferred or can be substituted with additional 4
years of experience in the IT environment.
2-5 years of experience.
Knowledge of one or more of the
following systems: CDSS, DCGS-A, CHARS,
ASAS, TGS, ENFIRE, DTSS.
