Airborne Maintenance Technician Instructor

Key Role:

Apply knowledge as an airborne maintenance technician (AMT) instructor to train aircrew members' onboard EC-130 variant platforms. Prepare and deliver courses of instruction, evaluate training, and develop training to meet current and evolving needs. Develop and provide position and mission training to AMT trainees and provide input on training activities for other positions. Act as a coordinator for, provide input on, and direct action for training simulations both airborne and on the ground. Maintain and update training records and reports for the client unit's programmed flight training tracking metric. This position is located in Tucson, AZ.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience as 1A3X1 AMT

-2+ years of experience as an EC-130H AMT instructor with a minimum of 750 total hours

-Ability to perform airborne training activities

-Ability to maintain an airborne instructor qualification, including periodic evaluations

-Ability to pass and maintain a FAA Class 3 physical examination required

-TS/SCI clearance

-Ability to obtain an AA or AS degree within a year from start date

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a standardization and evaluation (STAN/EVAL) examiner

-Experience with the current EC-130H mission system configuration

-Experience with formal client unit processes

-Experience with AF information

-Experience with 1,500+ flying hours and 300+ instructor-flying hours

-AMT EC-130H Aircraft or Contract EC-130H Instruction Qualification
